fr-greg 133 w border 78x100DID YOU KNOW that the “Columbian Association” – the wonderful men who manage “Columbian Hall” (formerly the Knights of Columbus Hall) – are nearing completion on a HUGE remodeling project on “Columbian Hall”?

With the wonderful reputation for fine food, established by Chef Marc, vigorous advertising, and the difficulty in accessing the NCO Club on Post for community events, there has been a great influx of catering, banquet and special event activities at “Columbian Hall”.

The leadership has invested a great deal of time and finances in remodeling the interior, as well as the exterior, of the Hall. Many improvements have already been made to make “Columbian Hall” the ‘go-to place’ in our Community!

The exterior treatment includes ‘architectural painting’ to suggest columns and colonnades, shutters for the windows, flower boxes, and painted floral swags, to suggest the look of an “Italian sea-side villa”!

There are plans underway for local artist, Michael Prostk, to paint a large mural on the Hall, depicting Padre Eusebio Kino (“The Apostle of Arizona”) meeting with Native American Chief Coro on the banks of the San Pedro River in 1691!

In addition to beautifying the neighborhood and increasing a positive traffic flow into the West End, the Columbian Association continues to support important Parish (the Annual Catholic Appeal Dinner) and Community (Good Neighbor Alliance Annual Dinner and Care Net Annual Fund-Raising Dinner) events!

When considering a special event or dinner, please contact the very helpful folks of the Columbian Association, (520) 458-3939, and schedule your special event at “Columbian Hall”!
